This is the first adventure I ran for a group, which led to a former #freeadventurefriday, Island of the Beastmen. Captured By Pirates! begins with the party chained up together and ends with them stranded on an island, possibly home to whoever was behind their kidnappings. This is a convenient start for a campaign, as it brings all the characters together and gives them a common enemy both in the short term (the pirates) and the long term (whoever was responsible for this).
